The Princess Party
I was tagged in a post for photographic services for Mamas pay it forward 205-420 NPO for a pamper party planned for little girls and their Moms to brighten their day, to forget about their troubles and also to honour Shanaya's life. (Shanaya the First Vs Ewings Sarcoma)
I very eagerly responded as it is where I have wanted to give back. Cancer has touched my family (both parents - Mom in remission from breast cancer for 3 years and Dad just recently completed radiation therapy).
Lots of hard work, planning, preparations, negotiations and prayers (I am sure) went on behind the scenes as this event came together and was executed perfectly.
Here are a few images of the day.
If you would like to pay it forward and get involved click on the fb links above to see how you can brighten a little person's life. <3
Certificate of appreciation for all the sponsors, chocolates and cookies :-)
Lee-Anne (Shanaya's Mom arranges Princess packs and Princess dresses for little girls, this party was no exception)
In the middle - Nicole Ludick, founder of MPIF
Anna, Lee-Anne and Elsa
Delmaine of Maine Frame Photos captured the portraits of Mom and daughter
